Welcome to Mi-Psychotherapy. We are a team of experienced, accredited psychotherapists and offer psychotherapy and counselling for adults.
The Mi-Psychotherapy team are psychodynamic psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) therapists who support and help adults around the world. Over many years we have helped adults with a range of different presentations and are ready to help you. Our specialities include anxiety, depression, self-esteem and anger. These are normal healthy emotions, which if neglected and unattended can become difficult to live with.
Alongside these specialities the MiP therapists have extensive expertise in supporting adults who have experienced traumas. Trauma can be experienced when very intense, life changing situations happen and we understand how this can affect life in many ways.

Depression can feel debilitating. It can leave you feeling stuck, hopeless, exhausted and miserable. We all experience types of depression. This is a normal part of life but if these feelings leave you feeling stuck then you may need some help. It might seem you have to battle this alone. But that is not the case. Perhaps, together, we can put the wind back in your sails and make life feel manageable again.
Depression is not something easily faced alone and it can really bring you down. I have many years experience of working with the challenges of depression.

It is a natural response to certain life experiences. However, for some of us, if anger is shut down, it can become an overwhelming feeling and start to dominate life. At such times you might feel under attack, provoked, insulted or deceived. Perhaps, you feel like lashing out and attacking too. Or you can feel ashamed of yourself, powerless or weak. Life can feel overwhelming
Help in dealing with loss, loneliness and fear
Life can seem overwhelming at times. If you have experienced trauma, loss or bereavement etc, the world can feel lonely and frightening.
In times like these there is no right or wrong way to feel. The traumas need mourning but the thought of doing this alone can seem overwhelming. There are often common feelings experienced during such difficult times and it is not uncommon to feel overwhelmed, sad, depressed, angry or guilty. Managing this alone is very difficult and we think getting through these difficult times takes two people. We are here to help.
